5th POPS World Championships and Boogie

Fraser Valley Skydiving Centre   hosted  the 5th World's POPS meet and boogie.   Nearly 300 skydivers from around the world gathered here for this event. Twelve countries in all were represented.   We had a total of 132 competitors for Scrambles, 99 for Accuracy, and 58 for the Hit'n Rock event.   Numbers were much higher for the Accuracy and Hit'n Rock but due to adverse weather conditions near the end of the meet,  the numbers declined.  We went from highs during the day of almost 30 C at the beginning of the meet  to 12 C near the end.  Hit 'n Rock event continued for the hardy inbetween the rain showers.
