First Jump

Instructor Assisted Deployment - I.A.D. An evolution and improvement from the old 'static line' system of student training, this course consists of about 4.5 hours of instruction and includes lectures, practical exercises and student participation

THIS IS NOT A SIT ON YOUR HANDS TYPE OF EVENT!

During the course you are taught all aspects of your first jump by certified instructors. The jump itself is done from approximately 3,000 feet and involves you climbing out of the aircraft, hanging from the wing strut, letting go and smiling as the instructor opens your parachute.
First Jump Baby!!!!

Pretty simple really - The equipment will allow you to enjoy the 5 to 8 minute descent under parachute as you glide down - guided by radio commands from the ground control instructor. The first jump courses for I.A.D. start at 9:00 a.m. every Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays and you can expect to jump the same day, weather permitting.

Why the hell would I want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane anyway??
